Workforce Enterprises (WE-NYC) is a New York-based vocational training school serving the document management community. Our holistic learning approach integrates classroom study and practical experience working on commercial projects. This work experience infuses our training program with energy and a heightened sense of purpose only an actual work environment can provide.

Our program’s content has been approved by the Xplor Document University as we move toward achieving our goal of CEU Accreditation.
Upon completion of the training program WE-NYC graduates are matched with Employers’ job profiles and hiring criteria.

The WE-NYC team has proven the effectiveness of our Employer Partner model. Working collaboratively and sharing resources with WE-NYC, employers have benefited from:
- New Revenue Sources from WE-NYC’s sales efforts
- Trained, Productive Entry-Level Staff (No employment fees)
- Tax Credits ($2,500 tax credits for each new hire)
- Employee retentions rates three times higher than most employers achieve through their own hiring practices, and
- Increased Capacity resulting from access to WE-NYC as an overflow facility.
A Model for Mutual Collaboration and Growth
Workforce Enterprises’ business model combines vocational training with a commercial digital imaging facility. We rely on commercial document imaging and binding projects to help finance our workforce development program, provide our trainers with “live projects” to illustrate proper production and quality control techniques and to infuse the training with a heightened sense of energy only a commercial environment can provide.
Our sales team is often asked to quote on work that cannot be produced within our training facility, and in these cases we broker that work to members of our Employer Partners.
Employer Partners are industry employers who offer capabilities beyond those of WE-NYC and who, in exchange for brokered work, have agreed to provide one-month internships for graduating WE-NYC students. There is no obligation to hire interns and no employment fee for hiring graduates should the employer desire.
